A bit about the role…
Reporting into the Digital Consumer leadership team you’ll be working on a product that is a part of day to day life for millions of people, and what you do will define how those customers interact with the company on a daily basis. You’ll work within a team of backend developers, alongside mobile engineers, product designers and managers, QA testers, data scientists and business analysts. You and your team(s) will be responsible for delivering the roadmap set out for the Digital area as well as continuously improving the current applications.
As a senior developer in the Digital Consumer team you’ll own and contribute to a number of key areas on a weekly basis:
- Technical decisions – alongside Principal Engineers and Solution Architects, our seniors are instrumental in the decision making on how solutions are designed and built.
- Team progression – Seniors are the engines in our development teams and really help to drive both the technical and teamwork directions. Mentoring our more junior team members as someone they can look up to and emulate.
- Team building – As one of our first senior members within the Digital Consumer area within our Bulgaria office you will be instrumental in helping us grow and develop there.

Location / Travel: The role will be hybrid model with the expectation of being in the Sofia office 2-3 days per week as required. Some international travel may also be required on up to a quarterly basis e.g. to the UK to participate in face-to-face planning meetings with our central digital teams and stakeholders.
